Fall Semester - Just the Beginning

I started my classes towards my major this fall. When I signed up for classes I had no idea what I was getting in to. So for my core I am taking college calculus and public speaking. Never did I think that by the third week I would already be sleep deprived !! I am hoping to meet new people and make new friends to end this yr to start a new one. Right now the only thing that's keeping me going is the power of PRAYER. I will try to keep updates on here but so easy to forget about.

Just had an amazing weekend in Alabama. I was able to be a normal twenty-one year old human being. Meggin and I were able to catch up on all the good times and on life. We went to ball game, locked out of her apartment, and I was able to meet her new boyfriend (I approved). She let me just be me and have fun. I forget how important it is just to be you. Sometime it makes you wonder how different life would be. There has been long thoughts on how different my life would be if my college life was different. I suppose a weekend every now and then like this past one will keep life going!

Time to Relax

This week so far has been amazing! I am spending the week at the beach with my friend! I have been able to spend my birthday at the beach and spend a week off work. Also, was able to talk to friends from across the world! I will say these past couple days have been great to just sit back and look at Gods creation! I love time where I can just enjoy being me and not worry about anything else! When you are able to get away with no cell service and no problems it just gives you time to just gather thoughts and ponder on life and the blessings you have!

A Bad Day

So I destroyed my iphone screen this week. I went all the way up too Lenox to find out they will not fix it without an appt. Then I call another Iphone store well it cost $155.00, and that does not fit into my budget. So with perserverance I finally found somewhere that will do it for a double digit price. It just shows a little patience can go a long ways!! Hopefully new Iphone screen and maybe if I am lucky a new Ipod too!! All I can do is hope for the best... Then all on top of this I am barely getting any hours at work which means no money. O well but everything works out for a reason. A little prayer always goes a long ways. This is my lesson of the week perserverance and prayer.

Life brings Changes

I just got back from the most amazing experience at Passion 2013. This brought me closer to God and too the word. I hope that this fire inside never grows old. While doing this my relationship with my fellow christian friends is closer. I saw right before my eyes 60,000 people that love the same Lord and have the same Passion and heart for those in need. Many memories were made and it was a week that will never be forgotten. Now that week has come to an end and reality has hit. Well its two weeks before my best friend leaves for the Mission Field. I know that no matter how far apart we are a bond will be in our hearts. I would not change these past 2 years for anything. As she sets forth on the journey God has planned for her she is going to do amazing things. I cannot wait to see and hear about all that God has done through her. This will be a tough goodbye but it will be one that will change the world. Phillipians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

My lesson for this weekend is no matter how mean someone is you have to be the bigger person.  Today my patience was put to the test when a coworker tried to push me around and tell me what to do. I know that when I am weak in flesh I am strong in him. Quote for the week "Love them like Jesus"! Also , I believe A new friendship has occurred while working at target!!!
